Species : Species: Seradin (Ser-ah-din)

Age : 84

Height : 3'7"

Weight :  86lbs

Profession : Revolutionary / High Chancellor of Seradin prime

Bio:

Once considered a revolutionary and a man of action by his people, Nova has fast become a tyrant bent on conquering his own and the universe at large.  He was, in the past, a loving husband and father of two, during the years of their enslavement.  It was this time in his life that made him an admirable Seradin with much potential. But with the fall of the Keepers, his appointment as High Chancellor, and his quarrel with his family, he quickly became bitter and jaded.

His mistrust of the Keepers stemmed from years of oppression that he and his people had suffered under the rule of a multitude of masters.  His idea of a revolution was not a peaceful one, and it was his commitment to violence that tore him from his family. During the uprising, Nova led the charge against the Keepers. His plans were flawless; the Keepers didn’t stand a chance. After proving himself an asset to his people during the revolution, he was appointed High Chancellor over the newly instated Seradin Senate, and their people.

During the chaos, he tried once more to gain the favor of his wife Gaia. But it was too late, and she fled his advances. In the turmoil, however, the Chancellor found his daughter alone and snapped her up; Gaia was too late to get to her, so she fled with her son, Fate.

As his power grew, so did his lack of compassion. His anger raged on toward those species that had once bought and sold his people like playthings, disposable and unimportant. His wrath pushed him to create the Seradin military and their master fleet. He began his attempt to conquer the galaxy using what he knew of Keeper technology. But as his attempts at domination failed, he turned his attention towards the study of Keeper equipment.  By heavily funding research, Chancellor Nova felt he would find the tools he needed to crush his enemies.

He began the Tartarus Program, wherein he had his top scientists working around the clock to uncover the workings of the Keeper technology, and to warp it in his own perverse ways to destroy all who had hurt him and his people. As time went on, the Fleet became the most powerful and advanced military ships in the universe, and the Chancellor started to crush his enemies.  Fortunately, at the time, the Seradin were far from the Galactic Senate and hub of the galaxy, but this wouldn’t last.

As his research into Keeper Tech went on, one of his scientists stumbled upon an incredible video recording.  It showed the surface of a planet being wiped clean, and then re-vitalized into a new, life-bearing planet. Rather than seeing this as potential for the expansion of life, Chancellor Nova saw a powerful weapon capable of decimating entire planets. He desperately wanted this technology, and set his best scientists to the task of finding which device was the cause.

It was about then that his son Fate was assigned to infiltrate Seradin Prime’s government for the resistance. He had tracked his father down and seemingly convinced him that he had left his mother to seek calling by his father’s side. This did not sit well with Destiny, his sister. She worried that her younger brother would waltz in and gain the favor of his father, the favor that she had sought for so many years.

Untrusting at first, his father set him up in a meaningless position within in the Senate. But soon Fate’s prowess with Keeper tech became evident, and Chancellor Nova has him reassigned him to the Tartarus Program. But although he saw potential in his son, he still didn’t trust him entirely. He sent Destiny serve as his faithful watch dog.

When Fate discovered within the Keeper’s database that a machine called the LSP was the weapon with the incredible capacity for destruction, he fled with the device’s core parts and wiped the data clean.  The Chancellor, betrayed, began an intergalactic vendetta against his only son, sending whoever he could spare to pursue Fate.  Nova wanted that weapon. And he would do anything to get it back.

This new arrival that had captured her father’s attention made Destiny livid, and she was determined to thwart her brother. When Fate showed his true intention to steal the Keeper tech, Destiny saw this as her chance to destroy Fate’s reputation with their father and take her rightful place by her father’s side. In her cell, she bided her time, searching for an opportunity to once again revive her rocky relationship with her father.  As time passed, she slowly lost her mind.

When Fate arrived at the same facility, Destiny saw the opportunity to redeem herself. She freed Fate in hopes that he would retreat to find the missing parts and research, and then she would make her move.  She would forcefully attain the fragments of the Tartarus Program and present it to her father. But before she could take off after him, her father came knocking on her door.

The Chancellor wanted to make use of Destiny’s skills again, to have her become his assassin and hunt her brother down. Her time had come and she would not fail again. And so her journey began...
